Team of Snow Wardens are geared up Ready For Winter

Once again with winter on the way I have got our team of Snow Wardens ready to roll into action should the ice and snow hit the Sid Valley,,,, We are stocked up with salt for the towable gritter that I provided funding for from my Devon County Council locality budget and our gritting routes have been agreed and which are listed below........ All in all there is an additional 4 miles we will cover which will allow residents to reach the main road gritted network which is carried out by the Devon County Council/Milestone team.

All the grit bins around the Sid Valley should also have been replenished but if you do find one that isn't please let me know by emailing me stuart.hughes@devon.gov.uk
