Site Meeting To Be Held A375 Sidbury Hill

cllrshughes

Senior Highway Officers have agreed to meet with me on Sidbury Hill A375 to see what measures can be implemented to help reduce speed and overtaking.

This follows concerns expressed by local residents who's properties adjoin Sidbury Hill.

The decision to visit was agreed by members of the Highways and Traffic Orders Committee which met at County Hall on Friday 23rd July.

I have requested that consideration at the site visit should include luminous backing to the 40mph signs along with the painting of 321 bars and 40 roundals on the road surface and areas of no overtaking / double white lines on the stretch of road in the vicinity of the entrances to the properties.
