Sidmouth 20mph Zone Revealed

I am delighted to confirm the extent of the 20mph zone that is being worked up for Sidmouth and which as I previously mentioned and following my discussions with Traffic Engineers also includes:-

Salcombe Hill Road, Fortescue Road/Sid Road and the Temple Street local centre/Vicarage Road ....... Both the All Saints School on Vicarage Road and St Johns School on Broadway are also included within the scheme.

Work will commence in April 2025 to draw up the scheme prior to going to committee for approval to go to advertising, feedback and subject to any slight modifications implementation.

Recently it has come to light that those motorists who live in a 20mph zone can receive a saving of up to £45 on their car insurance.
