More Tips To Keep You Cool

As temperatures soar into the 30s … here are some tips on how to keep cool -

Try keeping your feet cool bykicking a leg out of the bed sheets at night – this will cool your body due to the large surface area of blood vessels on the leg. Also, try a damp towel as a bed blanket but make sure to put a dry towel underneath the damp towel.

Put a bowl of ice in front of a fan - putting a bowl of ice in front of a fan helps cool the air temperature as the ice melts.

Try freezing a hot water bottle and put this on your forehead or other hot part of the body – fill the hot water bottle and put it in the freezer to turn to ice.

Keep blinds and curtains closed during the day to shut out the sun

– this will stop rooms from overheating. Keeping windows closed during the hottest hours of the day will keep room temperatures down.

And, keep yourself hydrated, by drinking lots of cool water
