Following further representations from motorists this week about the poor visibility due to misty conditions on the A375 driving towards Sidbury Hill from Honiton and who have flagged up concerns over the difficulty in seeing the black and white chevrons approaching the first bend and bend warning sign, where there have been several crashes over the past few years.
I have requested that we improve on the signage by replacing the chevrons with those with yellow backing which will improve the visibility and will also aim at getting drivers to take the bend slower ahead of the following bends heading towards Sidbury.
This is something that has also recently been raised by our road safety team along with the police.
