Confirmed yesterday (2nd April) at the Highways and Traffic Orders Committee that the Road Safety Team have commenced work on looking at the data regarding RTC’s at Kingsdown on the A3052 along with a route review which will hopefully lead to replicating a similar 50mph that’s been in place for many years between Newton Poppleford and Cat and Fiddle.….. I’m hoping that the speed will be reduced to 40mph through the section of Kingsdown and possibly include double white lines to prevent overtaking as many of the recent RTC’s have been as a result of overtaking.
